Since its foundation in 1986, Italian Surcanape has been developing very nice collections for homes and contract areas. It is operating with large expressive freedom and harmonic balance between sense of novelty, luxury familiarity and moderate timeless elegance.

A story evoking inner worlds where the products emphasize decorative excesses to find a new harmony from which a “classic” fabric is born. This fabric is updated with a recovered decorating desire.

The furnishing fabrics’ line, characterized by jacquard, damasks, brocades, lisere, lampas, velvets on silk chains, mixed silk, linen, cotton and Trevira CS expresses the refined result of a project where technology and stylistic research have a fundamental role.

OPIUM COLLECTION

Opium is a collection of floral printed patterns on velvet and linen grounds, together with oriental inspired designs, very resistant and suitable for furnishing and decoration.

These articles are the first step in the world of a completely new digital printing technique, with a resolution and a quality much higher than any other printed product on the market.

They have a special soft touch treatment, so, even if they are velvets for upholstery, they are suitable for decoration, too.

Opium curtain is linen based curtain, printed with the new digital technique and characterized by a very clear transparency advantage.

OUTDOOR COLLECTION
The first Surcanape’ outdoor collection is born with the aim to offer an innovative proposal for the outdoor furnishing market, with fabrics characterized by groundbreaking technical features, thanks to patented yarns of new generation, in perfect union with an incredible softness sensation, a never obtained quality in outdoor collections, which usually have a very rigid touch.

This controversial interaction continues in the 118 rooms, five junior suites and two suites, where the most diverse furnishing elements merge in a wondrous way to form a whole: saris as bed throws, disparate night tables, lampshades specially created for the hotel in different designs, plain champagne-coloured walls run into large-patterned wallpaper.

OUTLIFE COLLECTION
A collection which interprets the elegance of international taste which represents its home collections for over 20 years, where traditional and refined colors like beige, brown, grey alternate with brighter and bolder colors like electric blue and fuchsia, in order to give an answer to the always more concrete need of open-air spaces, thought as extensions of the interior environment, both classical and contemporary.
Outlife collection can combine design and functionality with fashion patterns and colors, which have groundbreaking technical characteristics. Each item is created with new patented yarns and subjected to an innovative finishing which makes the fabric completely waterproof and stain resistant, creating a total barrier against water, dampness, rain and bad weather, in order to preserve beauty and color in any weather and environmental condition, even the most extreme one.
Washable in water at 30°C and 100% recyclable, they have an excellent light fastness (fastness value 7/8), as well as a good resistance to wear, stains and micro-organisms, because they are fungus-, moulds- and bacteria-proof.
Totally non-toxic, hypoallergenic and anti-dust mite, they guarantee very good performances to Martindale and Pilling tests too, maintaining their quality unchanged for long time.
A proposal thought to guarantee a long and carefree life in the open-air, but at the same time which can be easily used for interior design too.

ECSTASY COLLETION

Apart from the multicultural influences and contradictions which create the excitement of the hotel, it’s the many details which make this hotel unique. The ground floor, in particular, contains numerous pictures, mirrors, cushions, carafes, lamps and other gems. Von Heyden feels most comfortable there, for "a great deal of life blood has gone into it."
