St Johns Wood Pavilion Apartment

The apartment was designed for clients who live in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, but have this 2 bedroom get-away flat in North West London. It was a great pleasure to work with this young family.

They were looking for the exact Anna Casa style; luxury, glamorous and modern, but also comfortable and classic. Of course every client has their own taste and it was in some way also challenging! But this is the kind of challenge that Anna Casa as a designer enjoys very much! The client wanted to have a beautiful but comfortable apartment, so every time they come to London they will feel at home, however on the other side it should be a WOW feeling every time they enter the apartment or invite friends over. The building itself is 10 years old and is still called a new construction, which was in some way challenging as ceilings were low and the planning had to be changed a little to make the flat look more spacious. As the apartment was not already big and spacious a lot of work with mirrors was done in order to change the optical view and make the rooms look and feel much larger!

The brief was very easy; as mentioned earlier the apartment should be glamorous, modern, comfortable and classic, using neutral colours and brown natural wood, silks fabrics and high end materials. This way when the London weather is not at its best, it is always bright with a great atmosphere inside the apartment. We have also worked on the lighting, which is always very important! Create different lighting options in the home and hereby enabling the client to change the mood; From bright light to a romantic atmosphere or just using the night light... In the boys bedroom we were more contemporary and used the latest contemporary fabrics, wallpaper and furniture!
