After two year of consistent work done with the collaboration of Middle East Technical University, which is one of the best and innovative universities in Turkey, GREEN GUARD that doesn’t like to get washed thanks to its self cleaning, air purifying and antibacterial properties was developed in Elvin factory. It is Elvin’s patented product. It can be seen in Elvin’s stores and selling points all over the world.

GREEN GUARD is a nanotechnological top coating agent. It both clears the fabric by removing organic stains such as oil, tea, coffee, wine, fruit juice, carbonated beverages, soot, etc. existing on the fabric and enhances the air quality by reducing or eliminating polluted compounds in air such as CO, volatile organic compounds and cigarette smoke.  Besides; it resists bacterial growth. GREEN GUARD is a photo catalyst. The mechanism of GREEN GUARD can be explained as follows: when the curtain fabric is exposed to sun light or artificial light in the presence of water vapor and oxygen, two highly reactive substances are formed; hydroxyl and superoxide radicals. These radicals react with organic compounds and organic gas pollutants, and convert them to carbon dioxide and water. Similarly, these radicals can destroy bacterial cell membrane and prevents microbial growth on fabrics. Thanks to these properties, GREEN GUARD never gets dirty. So, you do not need to wash GREEN GUARD. It only needs sun light in order to self-clean, air purify and resist microorganisms. Since no washing requirement, it also reduces the need for ironing and drying. By the help of these unique properties, GREEN GUARD reduces both energy and water consumption and improves the quality of users life.
