Elvin Textile’s design studio can offer custom designed decorative fabrics having functional properties depending on the specific needs of the client. Elvin offers water and stain repellent, antibacterial, Trevira CS flame retardant, fire retardant through finishing, perfumed, anti-mosquito, anti-pollen and luminous fabrics.  

WATER AND STAIN REPELLENT FABRICS

• Very good water – oil and stain repellent properties
• Good washing tolerance – up to 50 washers: so long as a tumbler or ironing is applied after every wash. 40⁰C warm washing program is suggested.
• Better touch
• More environment-friendly due to lower FC use.
• Wearing resistance of the stain repellent product is higher.
• Less impact on inflammability
• Preserves the colors and provides lade fading.

• Test methods; Water repellent (AATCC 22/EN 24920), Oil repellent (AATCC 118/EN 14419)

 ANTIBACTERIAL FABRICS

Antibacterial fabrics are developed especially for hospitals, clinics and for places that we would like to prevent from bacteria. Elvin applies antibacterial to Kids collection to supply healthy fabrics to the children’s rooms.

PROPERTIES OF ANTIBACTERIAL FABRICS

• Fabrics covered with silver ions gain antibacterial properties. Thanks to the contained silver ions, it prevents bacteria formation and provides hygiene.
• This application, which is not harmful for the human health at all, is also in accordance with Oeko-tex 100 standard.
• The cellular toxicity test of ITV Denkendorf (DITF method KV 01,2002, DITF method TOX 04,2002) proved that the product does not affect the natural balance of the skin.

 TREVIRA CS FLAME RETARDANT FABRICS  

Continuously developed yarn technologies of Trevira CS are transforming into unique designs and colorful curtains with advanced properties by Elvin Textile’s experience of many years in fancy curtain field. Most of the hotel projects around the world prefer decorative fabrics which are made of Trevira CS yarns.

PROPERTIES OF TREVIRA CS FLAME RETARDENT FABRICS

• Flame is restricted in a small region of the curtain at flame retardant curtains
• Does not flare-up of sparks
• Flame retardant property of curtain is self-endured, free from washing and aging
• In case of fire, no ember arises and smoke (gas) formation is very little.
• Non-irritant or anti-allergic. Does not contain any harmful component.
• High abrasion resistance
• Easy to care&clean
• A brief washing at low temperature is enough with minimum water and detergent consumption. Therefore; it saves detergent and energy
• Compatible with all disinfection methods
• Certain Standard that are succeeded by Trevira CS products are as follows; DIN 4102 Section 1/B1 SNORM 3820/B1; NF P 92501-7/M1; BS 5867, Section 2 Type C; UNI VF 8456/I; UNE 23721-27/M1 and EN 1021 Section 1+2

FIRE RETARDANT THROUGH FINISHING

It is a method of applying flame retardancy to the fabric at finishing stage. It is stable at the fabric up to 20 washes which can be changed up to content of the fabric. At FR finish, success is up to the composition of the fabric. If fabric is 100% polyester, FR finish is successful and at fabrics that contain natural fibers of more than %20, FR finish application may not be successful. Fire Retardant Finish success mentioned above may change up to standards of countries. An FR finish applied polyester fabric can pass NFPA 701, DIN 4102, BS5 5852 Part 1 for 100% PES fabrics.

PROPERTIES OF ANTI-MOSQUITO AND ANTIMICROBIAL FABRICS

Providing anti-insect functionality, Elvin’s mosquito technology will inhibit landings, probing and bites from a spectrum of insects, from mosquitoes to horseflies, midges to ticks.

• Will not affect color
• Prevents color degradation and malodor due to microbe invasions.
• Fabrics are softer, fresher and longer lasting

PERFUMED FABRICS

The perfumed curtain fabrics, which are produced with microcapsule technology, emit pleasant odors when they move naturally. The products consist of an outer screen that protects the active substance and the active substance itself, which is at micron font-size. The active substance can be Aloe Vera, Vitamin E or other aromatherapy scents. The outer screen protects the active substance from outer factors. It explodes during the movement and enables the oscillation of the active material, which makes it more effective. In terms of washing durability, it is durable against min. 5 washers in warm (gentle) wash. Here, 40⁰C warm washing program is applied.

ANTI-POLLEN FABRICS

Anti Pollen Fabrics does not let pollen or dust particles stick on the fabric thanks to its characteristic and prevent pollen or dust particles from entering your home. Thanks to this, Anti-Pollen Curtains prevent allergy and hay fever symptoms.

PROPERTIES OF ANTI-POLLEN FABRICS

*Anti-Pollen Finish is a cationic product.

*Depending on the treatment of fabric, washing resistance and terms of service, Anti-Pollen Finish is capable of withstanding 5 washing cycles.

*In order to test the efficiency of anti-pollen fabrics, the fabrics treated with anti-pollen finish are exposed to lycopodium pollen grains and the number of grains absorbed by the fabric is determined by counting them under microscope

*Anti-pollen fabrics have a special touch thanks to its characteristic.

ORGANIC FABRICS

Elvin offers %100 organic fabrics produced by yarns that are made of organic cottons. These fabrics pass all processes very carefully and they do not touch any chemical treatment until it reached final consumer. There is no dyeing or chemical application at them and they can be used at spa hotels, at hospitals and at any places where natural products are preferred. At roller blinds, Elvin offers its natural content fabrics, several general use fabrics and black outs.

LUMINOUS FABRIC

Luminous fabric, based on fiber optics, is a new type of textile that can emit its own light along the full length of the fibers. This innovative concept allows weaving of optical fibers alongside synthetic ones to create a fabric that lights up. Fabrics made with this technology look nice and stylish.

Elvin produces luminous fabrics depending on the specific need of the client. Luminous fabrics use 12 Volt DC power supply, so there is absolutely no risk of electrical shock. These fabrics can be used in the illumination and decoration of a hotel, bar, theater, cinema, public building and apartment, etc.
