The number of Trevira CS contract textiles from Turkish suppliers is increasing

Over the past years, Trevira, the manufacturer of flame retardant yarns and fibres, has established cooperation with a growing number of partners along the textile supply chain in Turkey, thus adding new products to the world's largest range of flame retardant yarns and textiles.
“Turkey is a growing market for our flame retardant fibres and yarns”, explains Anke Vollenbröker, Trevira’s Head of Marketing. “Traditionally, Turkish manufacturers have close ties to the markets Middle East and Eastern Europe. Over the past years they have also become trusted partners of high-end Western European suppliers of flame retardant furnishing fabrics.”
To satisfy the increasing demand for flame retardant fabrics and ensure a rapid response at the yarn stage, Turkish Trevira partners Gol Iplik and Polyteks supply Turkish weavers and knitters with Trevira yarns. Both companies are well known in Turkey for their high quality and reliability. Gol Iplik is the partner for all kinds of Trevira flame retardant spun yarns, while Polyteks Trevira Cs Made In Turkey provides flame retardant textured yarns. Trevira’s long-time sales agency in Istanbul, Akcan Tekstil supplies the company’s flat flame retardant filament yarns.

A broad range of Trevira CS fabrics made in Turkey is available on the market today, and new innovative fabric collections appear constantly. „In terms of quality and design the qualities from Turkey show a great creative potential and high professional standard“, says Anke Vollenböker. One of the latest innovations from Turkey, Vanelli Tekstil’s “Lifestyle“ collection, received the Trevira CS Award for the most attractive and innovative Trevira CS collection, presented at MoOD in 2009.
