Yarns developed in Polyteks’ R&D Department are supplied into the market under their respective trademarks. In addition to its own brand names, cooperating fully with world famous polyester manufacturer Trevira, Polyteks also produces modified polyester yarns with“flame retardant” component.  

 Polyteks increases the variety of these products so that comfort and safety are carried to the Trevira CS certificated fabrics.

Comfort and safety, the two most important requirements in home textiles are successfully combine with flame retardant Trevira CS yarns. The flame retardant component of Trevira CS yarns are monitored according to the important international regulations on protection against fire.

Trevira CS fabrics are used where a legal requirement exists for flame retardant materials or where there is special demand for safety and protection against fire. Due to their attractiveness and easy care properties, Trevira CS fabrics are to be found in the private sector increasingly as ; upholstery fabrics, roller blinds , drapes decorative fabrics, sliding panels,wall coverings,room dividers / partitions,bedding , table linen..

Textiles made from Polyteks yarns bear the trademark Trevira CS have permanent flame retardant component. Unlike fabrics that receive a surface treatment at a later stage, Trevira CS textiles offer long-term security.

Textiles used in interior spaces are extremely sensitive. By using flame retardant materials in interiors you can reduce the spread of fire ; thus the chances of injury, from very beginning.

This particular feature of Trevira CS is built into its molecular structure and cannot be removed. Therefore the material does not need to be surface threated and it retains its protective function for ever, no matter what process  it undergoes during usage and cleaning. Flame retardant Trevira CS filament yarns are free from toxic substances and it is certificated to the Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
