Boyteks, a company of Boydak group, is one of the largest jacquard weavers and knitted mattress ticking manufacturers worldwide. Production had started with 24 machines in Kayseri in 2000 -  today the company operates two plants with a fully integrated production from yarns to fabrics with 307 machines in Kayseri and 133 in its Bursa plant. Boyteks employs strict quality control and is certified according to Oeko-Tex 100, ISO 9000 and 14001 as well as OHSAS 18001. Total output per year amounts to 50 million meters of mattress ticking (Kayseri) and 12 million meters of upholstery fabrics (Bursa), with a product range of nearly 10,000 items.
The mattress tickings of Boyteks are available in single and double jersey qualities and stand out through their three-dimensional structure, their flexibility, volume, softness and high air permeability.

The cooperation with Trevira started in 2002 when Boyteks added Trevira CS articles to their Safety Concept of the Special Products range. Vice general manager Önder Honi explains why Boyteks decided to add a Trevira CS line to the company’s portfolio:  „People tend to prefer ‚natural’ yarns instead of chemically treated textiles. Trevira CS is inherently flame retardant without surface treatment, and this feature does not go away after washing; it is permanent. Apart from the protection it offers, the material is easy to clean and fast-drying, which are also reasons to prefer Trevira yarns. Whether we will expand Trevira business mostly depends on the reaction of the market in future. Turkey, increasing cooperation with the UK, is more getting more and more conscious about flame retardancy in textile business.“
