As producer of ring yarns made from Trevira’s flame retardant fibres in Turkey, Gol Iplik supplies spun yarns to Turkish high-quality manufacturers of Trevira CS upholstery fabrics, curtains and other interior textiles.
The company was founded in 1987. Based in Inegol/Bursa, Gol Iplik runs three facilities: a ring plant, an OE plant and a twisting department, with a a total number of 76,608 spindles and 2,880 rotors which allow a daily production capacity of 70 – 75 tons of yarn. rawmaterials are both natural as well as man-made fibres.
The cooperation with Trevira established in 2000 added the flame retardant polyester yarn collection to the product range.
Gol Iplik works with standardized quality systems for each product. Testing and analysing of the products is done in in-house laboratories, but also by various institutions. The company holds the ISO 9000 certificate.
Gol Iplik manufactures for the domestic market and supports customers in developing Trevira CS qualities. Mega (Dina/Vanelli) is the most important customer for Trevira yarns. 
Velvet and chenille fabric manufacturers are also in the company’s focus; this sector will be more effective / interesting in the near future.
“We started with Trevira because it is a well-known brand name and a prestige product. It suits our product philophy, which is to aim at high-quality and special product segments”, says CEO Erdogan Sheremet. “Yes, we plan to expand the Trevira CS range, since we expect a steady growth in demand for these yarns by our customers. This business will become an important issue in Turkey due to the fact that European purchasers are selecting more and more Turkish manufacturers. Today most collections come from Europe, but in the future Turkish suppliers of Trevira CS will play an increasingly important role.
