Tanguys Bar In Jersey Redesigned By Astounding Interiors

Volume 3 / Sept-Dec 2010

An indebt look at the trendy style charming main bar, cocktail bar and a separate dance floor decorated with diamond, emerald and ruby themes.

Gaston Y Daniela, An Innovative Spirit

Originally a traditional pub, Tanguys bar in Jersey has undergone a complete re-design to create a variety of exiting spaces that make it arguably the most talked about bar in Jersey.

The bar has been targeted at the 20-50-year age groups and has been designed to achieve sophistication whilst maintaining a trendy style.

Tanguys consists of a main bar, cocktail bar and a separate dance floor, all located on the ground floor.

Textura: An elegant horizontal chevron with dampened brightness, a wonderful basic with endless potential because of its great resistance. An upholstery of the highest

Gaston Y Daniela, An Innovative Spirit

The design is based on three themes: “diamond”, “emerald” and “ruby”. These three themes which underpin the design are intended to create separate zones with a systematic layout according to the order of events in which they are likely to be used.

The “diamond” theme at entrance level acts as a welcoming bar, with white leather bar stools and a dazzling, metallic, front of bar finish to reflect the theme.  The colour scheme centres around silver and white with special feature crystal ceiling lights.  A comfortable corner seating area offers as a retreat zone with it’s elegant, contemporary style decor and leather cushioned walls.Gaston Y Daniela, An Innovative Spirit

The “emerald” theme at mid-point acts as a cocktail bar with feature pendant lighting over the seating areas.  The floral, backlit wall panelling which runs along the main wall is a prominent, contemporary, feature within this space.

The “ruby” theme at the rear, acts as a nightclub, and centres around a red and gold colour scheme.  The spectacular draped, gold ceiling is the focal point of the ruby zone complimented by gold, button tufted, banquette seating and a specially designed DJ booth to match.  The lighting accentuates the ambience and has been incorporated into parts of the furniture, including red LED backlit wall panels and internally lit, round tables which illuminate a radiant glow.
